We had a very fun family trip this summer, it started in Salt Lake City, then a little north to Logan, Utah, then a road trip to Ventura, California!!!! We had to get ready for our adventures with a little pre-beach toe pampering. Even Elliott was on board!!
Elliott got palm trees, Lucy got a boat scene, and I got a little daisy.
We were prepared this time...Archie was armed with his Elmo dvd and doll!! All set.

Salt Lake City is fun any time, but we had a more important reason for being there...ANOTHER MARATHON FOR DAD!!!!

He was pretty happy with himself: he beat his personal record by 10 minutes, and he sweated a superman logo on his shirt!!
Mike was such a trooper. He didn't want the kids to miss out on any fun because of his race, so, after a short soak in a cold tub, we headed back out so the kids could play at the outdoor mall across the street.
We got to see some cool movie sights too. This is the high school where they filmed a movie Lucy likes, High School Musical.
And this is where they filmed a movie Elliott likes, The Sandlot.

This adorable family headed up to Logan to spend some time with my sister Ruth and her family.
When we got there, we had an adventurous ride on some public transit,
and arrived at an indoor trampoline park
The next day, we met up with Uncle Kimball, Aunt Charice and her sons Christian and Morgan, and we started to long, wonderful journey in the Big Purple Bus....
VENTURA OR BUST!!!!
