We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams . . .
yet we are the movers and shakers of the world forever, it seems

halloween party

Every year, I host a neighborhood Halloween party at the park next to my house (I think I am informally on the activity committee in the HOA). Here are the first pics of halloween this year! Lucy is a brunette Alice In Wonderland, Elliott is Tinky Winky (mike protested due to Tinky's alleged gender-confused identity, but there is no one cuter in the whole world...don't even get me started on my love of the big, purple, clumsy, adorable teletubby!). It is so fun to dress Elliott because I still get to pick, I had to do some subtle persuasion to get Lucy into Alice, she had to think it was her idea! Heather and I were the bug sisters, we do what we can without having to dress up too much, it all works out! Heather's husband, Kimo was a vampire, Joy was a masquerading mass murderer? and Lilly was Tinkerbell. Very cute. Fun times.

fun pics

Here are some more pics of the kids on some of Lucy's field trips. Elliott is lucky because he gets to tag along too. He was desperately afraid of the Fire truck, it must have just been too big! But, they both loved the animals and pumpkin patch. Consequently, this is the same farm that we pick strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and get our honey! It's just down the road a piece! Come visit me in Boise and I'll show ya!

Mrs Morrison would be so proud!

Ok, you want to know a little more about the modern Bonnie? As my friend Angel so eloquently put it, I am an "Earth Mom". For those of you that remember my tendency toward obsession (see Pearl Jam, Roger Butler, Rob Krohler years) you will know that I am probably attacking this with the same ferocity! I wash my clothing in an energy star washer using Soap Nuts...that's right, a nut grown on a tree, and hang them on the line to dry! We recycle EVERYTHING, always have lights off, no paper towels, reusable shopping bags, local produce and honey, free-range eggs, chicken and beef, and anything else I can think of! I haven't yet proceeded to composting or cloth diapers; Hey, no one's perfect! Any ideas to help my cause would be lovely! I am always up for new things to obsess about!

How do I do this?

How do I make links to my friends websites on my blog? I want quick access to all of you! Crystal, I can't access your account, is there a password? Or, did you just set up an account to view ours? Yeah, I did that for a while. Gotcha!

Ok, I want to hear from EVERYONE about how the reunion went, photos will be a BONUS!! I am super-sad I didn't make it, but I am counting on Michelle R to put together a super-luncheon when I finally do make it into town? You up for it Michelle? I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, I had a fun day spend with Heather's (my big sis) family. We were very happy because a restaurant opened yesterday that has FROZEN CUSTARD!!! You don't know how much you love it until it's gone! It was yummy. Have a beautiful week.

Here are some more pictures of the family, I have a lot of catching up to do! All worn out in Disneyland. The first Johnson family photo in 12 years! Yup, we're all there but K.C. Lucy's first day of preschool and her dance recital at the Little Gym. Elliott on a camping trip. My parents are on a mission in North Dakota, I'll put a picture of them in too. And, Little Baby Ruth got married this summer, yes, we are that old! Enjoy!
This is Elliott doing his favorite thing, PULLING ANYTHING! This is Heather's backyard...nice huh? I told you I love Boise!

Ok, I spent all sunday night reading about the lives of all my great friends from AZ, and I am so happy! I want to keep in touch with all of them always! So, this is my effort! Plus, I think my kids are kind of cute!

I've got two kids and one husband! Each child has parts of both of us and it's kinda funny: strangers love to point it out. Lucy is a Korean-Bonnie, and Elliott is a white-Mike (that's my husband's name!) They are as different in personality as they are in looks.

We live in Boise and we LOVE IT HERE! Heather (my big sis) lives in boise with her family too, and we are as close and strange as ever!

Here are some pics, enjoy!
